Jordanian authorities arrest Yemeni journalist

SANAA, Oct. 09 (YPA) – The Jordanian authorities arrested on Saturday a Yemeni journalist, based on a report submitted by the ambassador of the Saudi-exiled Hadi government in Amman.

The sources affirmed that the ambassador of the “Hadi government” in Jordan, Ali Al-Amrani, submitted a report to the Jordanian security, about the arrest of the journalist writer Raddad Al-Salami.

The journalist Al-Salami was arrested after publishing information on “Facebook” that Al-Amrani has a series of restaurants and investments in Jordan.

During the past few days, Al-Salami received a number of threats and intimidations by the ambassador, Al-Amrani, as a result of publishing that information before informing the security authorities in Jordan those threats, according to the sources.
