Yemen Center for Human Rights condemns repression of peaceful protesters in southern Yemen

SANAA, Oct. 04 (YPA) – Yemen Center for Human Rights condemned  attacks carried by  armed militias loyal to Saudi-led Coalition of Aggression forces on peaceful demonstrators in the occupied territories.

In a statement obtained by Yemen News Agency SABA, the center denounced  the arbitrary practices of  the UAE-backed militias the Hadhrami elite and Southern Transitional Council (STC), by firing live bullets at civilians in the city of Mukalla.

Dozens of people have been killed and hundreds arrested in Hadhramaut province in the past two years, many of whom have been tortured in detention facilities run by UAE forces, the statement said.

Dozens of people have been killed and wounded by live gunfire in the past two days in Aden, the statement added.

It confirmed that lives of people are at risk, fowling the announcement of the so-called “state of emergency” to end the protests taking place in the province.

The statement went through  violations suffered committed against  protesters in Taiz and the directorates by Saudi-backed militias led by the so-called Taiz axis commander Khaled Fadhil.
