National Committee for Refugees condemns targeting Norwegian Council facility

SANAA, June 10 (YPA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (National Committee for Refugees) strongly condemned the Saudi-led coalition airstrikes which targeted Hadda residential neighborhood of Sanaa last week, which led to the destruction of one of Norwegian Refugee Council facilities in violation of the 1951 International Convention on the Status of Refugees and the 1967 Protocol.

The Committee called, in a statement received by Yemen Press Agency agency, on the international community to pressure on countries of aggression to stop the repeated targeting of humanitarian workers, and innocent civilians.

The Committee reiterated the importance of the international community to held its responsibilities towards opening a comprehensive investigation into all crimes committed by the aggression in Yemen.
