Cloudy to rainy weather expected in most areas of Yemen

SANAA, Sept. 29 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology expected on Wednesday that the weather would be cloudy to rainy, accompanied by scattered rain, over most areas of Yemen.

The center affirmed, in its air weather forecast, that the scattered rain of varying intensity might fall on separate parts of the western mountain range and parts of the highlands of the provinces of Mahra, Hadramout, Shabwa, Bayda and Abyan.

Meantime, the weather of the Socotra archipelago would be partly cloudy and scattered light rain on the southern parts of the archipelago, with the active southwesterly winds reaching a maximum speed of 25 knots.

The center warned citizens in the areas, where rainfall expected to stay away of waterways and valleys, in order to preserve their safety, calling on motorists to drive carefully in the mountainous roads.
