NCM expects rain of varying intensity in most Yemeni province

SANAA, Sept. 16 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expected on Thursday rain of varying intensity to continue in most Yemeni province within the next 24 hours.

The center stated, in its weather forecast, that the rains might extend eastward to parts of the interior hilltops of the provinces of Abyan, Shabwa and Hadramout, and westward to the western coast.

The center pointed out the possibility of sporadic light to medium would be prevailed over parts of the provinces of Raymah, Dhamar, Mahweet and Hajjah, and Sanaa.

While the southwest monsoon will continue to blow over the Socotra archipelago.

The weather forecast warned citizens in areas where rain expected to stay away from waterways and valleys.
