Rain of varying intensity expected within coming hours: NCM

SANAA, Sept. 15 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expected rain of varying intensity to continue in most Yemeni province within the next 24 hours.

The center stated, in its weather forecast, that the mountainous heights of the provinces of Lahj, Taiz, Ibb and Dhalea, Abyan, Shabwa and Hadramout would witness rainfall of varying intensity, accompanied by thunderstorms.

The center pointed out the possibility of sporadic light to medium might be prevailed over parts of the provinces of Raymah, Dhamar, Mahweet and Hajjah, while the southwest monsoon continuing to blow over the Socotra archipelago.

The weather forecast warned citizens in areas where rain expected to stay away from waterways and valleys for preserving their safety.
