UAE sends military forces to Mahra, Hadramout

ADEN, Aug. 10 (YPA) – The UAE has pushed the military forces to the Yemeni provinces of Mahra and Hadramout in eastern Yemen.

Local sources familiar with the matter in Aden said that a ship belonging to the UAE transported military forces led by Major General “Adel Ali Hadi al-Musabi”, the commander of the so-called Special Forces and Combating Terrorism Brigade, from the city of Aden towards the city of Mukalla of Hadramout.

The sources indicated that the armed factions sent by the UAE will be deployed in the two provinces, after it was revealed that British forces were sent two days ago to Mahra province.

Meanwhile, pro-Islah activists on social media accused the UAE of sending its armed militias to Hadramout with the goal of detonating the situation and strengthening its control over the oil fields in the province.
