Saudi authorities decide to deport all Yemeni workers from Jizan border region

SANAA, Jul. 26 (YPA) – The Saudi regime authorities gave their citizens four months to demobilize all Yemeni workers in the Jizan border region, media source reported on Monday.

Al-Jazeera correspondent in the Sultanate of Oman, Samir Al-Namri, quoted high-ranking sources as saying this information, which will generate an explosion and widespread confrontations between Saudis and Yemenis.

Al-Namri wrote in a tweet: “Yemeni sources: The Saudi authorities give their citizens four months to abandon all Yemeni workers in the Jizan border areas with Yemen and replace them with workers of other nationalities.”

Commenting on these news, Yemeni writer and journalist Abbas Al-Dhaleai said that if the Yemenis were expelled from Jizan, Najran and Asir (Yemeni regions) and replaced with other nationalities, the Yemenis at home would be convinced of another view of the Saudi occupation of Yemeni lands.

Al-Dhaleai explained, in a tweet, that this would push Yemenis to support any group to liberate this land, adding: “This land was handed over to Saudi Arabia in exchange for projects and privileges, and Saudi Arabia did not fulfill it.”
