MAHRAH, Jul. 09 (YPA) – A former minister in Hadi government has been attacked and humiliated by Saudi officers in Mahrah province, eastern Yemen.
Fahad Kafin, former fisheries minister Fahad Kafin said, in a tweet, that Saudi officers stationed at Sarfait border crossing, are provoking travelers and obstructing their passage.
He explained that two Saudi officers raised their voices to him and uttered bad words suddenly and with a clear superiority while speaking with the customs officer at the border crossing during the check-in.
Kafin added that the Saudi officer continued to insult him and raise his voice to him even though he introduced himself to the officer as a former minister in Hadi’s government.
He noted that such treatment was unacceptable to him and anyone else, whatever.
Activists blamed Hadi’s government for the humiliation and superiority of the Saudis against Yemeni citizens in the occupied provinces.
