Abdul Khaleq Salam: losses of al-Barah cement factory due to aggression bombing exceeded $26m and 30bn

TAIZ, Jul. 08 (YPA) – The Acting Director General of Al-Breh Cement Factory revealed that 26 million dollars and 30 billion riyals are factory losses in Taiz governorate due to US-Saudi aggression bombing.

Engineer Abdul Khaleq Salam told Almasirah that 700 employees stopped working, which resulted in the displacement of many families, while some of them had mental illnesses. He pointed out that the number of families that were deprived of care that depended on their income from the factory reached 5,000 families.

Salam pointed out that the factory’s suspension resulted to the damage of many machines and equipment due to the accumulation of rust on them due to lack of maintenance.

He considered the UN’s silence towards what the US-Saudi aggression is committing as a green light and makes it a partner in all these crimes.

Salam called on all the free people of the world to put pressure on the United Nations and US-Saudi aggression to restart this vital facility, which would contribute to alleviating the suffering of the workers.
