Prisoners’ committee condemns crime of killing against prisoners in Marib

SANAA, May 08 (YPA) – The National Committee for Prisoners’ Affairs condemned on Saturday the torture’s acts and killing against one of prisoners by the Saudi-led coalition forces in Marib city.

The committee said in a statement that the torture of the captive Hamid Abu Holika last weekend by the coalition forces, until he died, is a war crime.
The committee held the leadership of the coalition and its mercenaries in Marib, the legal and moral responsibility for this crime and other crimes against the prisoners.

The statement pointed out that the coalition’s crimes against the prisoners are a natural result of the silence of the United Nations and its organizations operating in Yemen, calling on the UN envoy to condemn this crime and put pressure on the coalition forces to stop these criminal acts against the prisoners.
