UAE allows restaurants to openly serve food in Ramadan

SANAA, April 13 (YPA) – UAE issued on Tuesday an open circular allowing restaurants in the country to provide meals during the midday in the month of Ramadan without wearing curtains.

The Dubai Department of Economic Development said on Twitter, that the circular would give the restaurant’s departments the option to cover restaurants or remove curtains while serving food to customers during fasting hours.

Last year, the circular was issued by the Dubai Department that forced restaurants and establishments to install curtains or cover façades of the restaurants as a condition for serving food during fasting hours in Ramadan.
