Syrian air defenses confronts Zionist aggression and dropped number of missiles
SANAA, April 8 (YPA) – The Syrian air defenses responded at dawn on Thursday to a Zionist aggression against the southern region from the direction of the occupied Golan and from the direction of Lebanon.
The Syrian SANA correspondent reported that “the air defenses confronted the Israeli aggression and dropped a number of missiles.”
Al-Manar TV correspondent said, “One of the Syrian air defense missiles chased an enemy Israeli warplane in the airspace of the border region and heard its roar throughout southern Lebanon.”
A Syrian military source stated that “at about 12:56 am today, the Israeli enemy carried out an air assault with bursts of rockets from the direction of Lebanese territory targeting some points in the vicinity of Damascus. Our air defense media confronted the aggression’s missiles and dropped most of them. The aggression also resulted in the wounding of four soldiers, and some material losses.
