Major mass rally in Sanaa marks National Resilience Day

SANAA, March 26 (YPA) – The capital Sanaa witnessed a mass rally on Friday to mark the National Day of Resilience in the face of the aggression launched by the Saudi-led coalition on the country for the sixth consecutive year.

Crowds of participants from all districts of the capital flocked to the airport road square, carrying banners confirming the continuation of steadfastness in the seventh year against the US-Saudi aggression.

A statement, issued by the mass rally, appreciated the legitimate defensive operations carried out by the heroes of the army and popular committees in the depth of the coalition countries, praising field victories on all fronts.

The statement called on the armed forces to retaliate against the coalition’s targeting of Sanaa airport and the disruption of Hodeida port, stressing that the coalition countries must stop their aggression and lift the siege completely.

At the same time, the statement confirmed that the Yemeni people are with the real peace that guarantees the sovereignty, security, stability, and territorial integrity of Yemen.

The statement added that “Yemen is still in a position of self-defense”, and that the response to the coalition aggression would continue until it stops.

The statement affirmed the Yemenis’ adherence to support the Palestinian cause, and their rejection of normalization with the Israeli enemy.
