Army’s drones attack Saudi Int’l Airport

SANAA, March 02 (YPA) – The Yemeni armed forces launched on Tuesday fresh bomb-laden drone attacks against Abha International Airport of Asir province in Saudi Arabia, the army spokesman said in a statement.

The Qasef 2K drone targeted aircraft hangars accurately in the regional airport, the spokesman Yahya Sarie said.

Sarie added the air attacks came in retaliatory response to the war crimes and violations against the Yemeni people.

On Saturday, Brigadier General Sarie announced the launch of Fifth Deterrence Balance” operation, which targeted the Saudi depth, with joint offensive operation by the drones and missile force.

He explained that the operation was carried out with a ballistic missile, Zulfiqar, and nine drones, Samad 3, on sensitive and military sites in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, in addition to six Qasef 2K drones targeted military sites in the areas of Abha and Khamis Mushait.
