Al-Ajri: Sanaa is keener on Marib than coalition

SANAA, March 02 (YPA) – Member of the national negotiating delegation, Abdulmalik Al-Ajri, on Tuesday confirmed that Sanaa is keener on Marib province and its residents than Saudi-led coalition.

“We are more concerned about Marib and the people of Marib, and we do not fight for past glories or for sectarian or ethnic revenges,” said Al-Ajri in a tweet on his Twitter account.

He added, addressing the coalition countries, “Our cause is Yemen, and our request is that you stop your aggression and siege, as killing by starvation is greater than killing by bombing.”

“We demanded a sane solution and what is less than a just solution,” he said, noting that ideas after ideas and initiative after initiative were presented to stop the war and lift the siege, but unfortunately nothing has been reached, except empty aspirations on the negotiating tables.
