Islah deploys military battalion with tanks in Abyan

ABYAN, Feb. 25 (YPA) – Military reinforcements belonging to Islah militants arrived on Thursday in Abyan province, southern Yemen, local sources said.

According to local sources in Abyan province, Islah reinforced the presence of its militants with a military battalion and five tanks in the Qarn al-Kalasi front, without revealing the area coming from it.

Activists on social media considered that the military reinforcements as a violation of the military component of the so-called Riyadh Agreement, between the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) and the Hadi government.
