Protest rally demands expulsion of Islah militia from Hadramout

MUKALLA, Feb. 25 (YPA) – Dozens of people of Hadramout province, eastern Yemen, organized on Thursday a protest rally in Mukalla city, the capital of province, to demand the banning of Islah Party (Muslim Brotherhood).

The protesters raised banners demanding the prohibition of Islah group, similar to the Saudi-led coalition countries and the countries of the world that banned the Brotherhood group and designated it as a terrorist group.

They also announced their rejection of the practices of the Islah militias, who dominate the province’s wealth and deprive its people of them.

On the other hand, southern activists considered that the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council stands behind those protests, as an attempt to control the province.
