Mahra Activists hold Saudi, British intelligence responsible for any targeting of Sheikh “Al-Harizi”

MAHRA, Feb. 25 (YPA) – Dozens of activists from Mahra province, southern Yemen, hold Saudi Arabia and British intelligence responsible for any targeting of Sheikh Ali Salem Al-Harizi.

Mahra activists denounced the British intelligence’s recruitment of spies to raise coordinates and information about the province tribes in general and Sheikh “Al-Harizi” in particular.

The activists considered that the confessions revealed by Sanaa intelligence on Tuesday about the British spy cell members’ activity towards Mahra and its tribes and the monitoring of Sheikh Al-Harizi a crime for which Saudi Arabia, the UAE and British intelligence bear responsibility.

Sheikh Al-Harizi, former undersecretary of Mahra province, has been known for his positions opposing the Saudi occupation of Mahra provine. He left his government position and announced his joining the peaceful sit-in of Mahra rejecting the presence of the Saudi forces, and his bias for the options and demands of Mahra’s sons.
