Coalition continues to ban entry of neurosurgery endoscopes to Yemen: Health Minister

SANAA, Oct. 14 (YPA) – Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakel, said on Wednesday that the Saudi-led coalition insists on banning the entry of the endoscopes necessary for neurosurgery for the sixth year in a row.

Dr. Al-Mutawakel indicated, during the launch of the third conference of neurosurgery and spine, that Yemen is witnessing a record increase in the cases of brain and nerve deformities, with the increase in the coalition’s bombing on civilian objects and populated areas with poisonous bombs.

The Health Minister confirmed that most magnetic resonance devices are almost stopped.
