Expired food items belonging to ADRA org in Hodeidah destroyed

HODEIDAH, Oct. 14 (YPA) – The Prosecution Office, in cooperation and coordination with the branch of the Supreme Council for Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Hodeidah province, destroyed on Tuesday a quantity of expired foodstuffs that are unfit for use.

During the destroying, the representative of the council’s branch, Ahmed Al-Razehi, explained that the expired materials include 845 cartons of date biscuits, 577 boxes of Tahinia and shampoo, and that they were seized in the warehouses of ADRA Organization in Al-Marawia’h district.

He called on international organizations working in the province to coordinate between them and their partners to avoid wasting the money granted to the poor and needy.
