Saudi-backed Yemen PM  appeals for political asylum in Netherlands

ADEN, Jan. 28 (YPA) – Saudi-backed Yemeni Prime Minister Ahmed Obaid Bin Dagher on Sunday appealed for a political asylum in the Netherlands, an official  close Bin Dagher said.

The move came amid high political tensions in Yemen’s southern port city as street clashes between Saudi-backed militants and United Arab Emirates-backed Yemeni southern separatist movement have escalated.

Sunday ongoing clashes have so far killed and wounded at least 35 people, including civilians, according to medics.
