Coalition, ISIS, Al-Qaeda have same approach, method: Information Minister

SANAA, Aug. 12 (YPA) – Minister of Information, Dhaifallah Al-Shami, affirmed on Wednesday that the air strikes by the Saudi-led coalition to back ISIS and Al-Qaeda elements in Bayda against the Yemeni army, give a clear vision that the aggression and its elements have the same approach, method and goals.

“Perhaps we remember the American soldiers landing in Yakla area of Bayda came under the pretext of confronting the terrorist organizations, he said, adding that these US aircraft today support these criminals to reveal these comic plays to public opinion at home and abroad.”

Earlier in the day, a military official explained that American drones in cooperation with the coalition warplanes waged a series of strikes against the Yemeni army in an attempt to rescue ISIS and al-Qaeda elements in Qiva area of Bayda.
