Eight Palestinians injured during clashes with Israeli occupation in al-Quds

SANAA, July 12 (YPA) – At least eight Palestinians were injured and suffocated Saturday during clashes with Israeli occupying forces north of the occupied city of al-Quds on Saturday night.

Clashes broke out between dozens of Palestinians and Israeli forces after they stormed the town of Issawiya, following the firing of fireworks in the town to celebrate the announcement of the results of the high school exams.

“Four Palestinians in Issawiya were injured by rubber-coated metal bullets, and four others were suffocated by tear gas inhalation,” the Palestinian Red Crescent Society said in a brief statement.

A pregnant woman was among the injured, the statement said, without giving details about the nature of her injuries.

Clashes erupt between Palestinian youths and the Israeli army in the town of Issawiya, where the occupation forces make almost daily arrests in the area.
