Gunmen loot teachers’ salaries in Aden

ADEN, July 1 (YPA) – Unknown gunmen have looted a car carrying money in the southern port city of Aden, local sources said on Wednesday.

According to the sources, the gunmen intercepted a car full of money belonging to Aden Bank in front of the Amasy hall in the Khor Makser district.

They fired at the care, forcing the driver to stop, one of the sources said.

The sources confirmed that that the money was for the salaries of teachers in the District of Al Buraiqeh .

They looted the money and left to an unknown location, he added.

Aden and other southern provinces have been witnessing chaos and security disorder since United Arab Emirates occupation forces took control over the city.
