11 Afghan policemen killed by bomb

SANAA, June 6 (YPA) – Eleven members of Afghan security forces on Saturday were killed by a roadside bomb when a police patrol was passing by, in the Khash district of Badakhshan province, in the north of the country. .

The incident came hours after the US military announced that two air strikes had been launched targeting Taliban militants.

The American spokesman, Sony Legate, said in a tweet on “Twitter”, that the two raids were carried out on Thursday and Friday in two different states in Afghanistan, and targeted more than 20 Taliban militants.
