Coalition-backed government reports 11 new coronavirus cases, including one death case

ADEN, May 26 (YPA) – The Coronavirus Control Committee of Hadi’s government has on Monday reported 11 cases in three occupied Yemeni provinces.

The committee said in a brief statement on its account on Twitter, that four new cases of Covid-19 were recorded in Aden, four others in Taiz, including one death case and three cases in Lahj including one death case.

According to the committee, the total number of the confirmed Corona cases in Yemen since April 10 reached to 232 cases, including 44 deaths and eight recovery.

In the capital, Sana’a, four cases were reported, including two recovery and one death for a Somali migrant who was found dead in a hotel in the capital.

Yemen’s health sector suffers from a severe deterioration, as a result of the aggression and blockade by Saudi Arabia and its allies.

The war on Yemen has caused the  outbreak of epidemics and diseases and the closure of a large number of health facilities.
