Report: 9 civilians killed in 33 Saudi-led airstrikes on Yemen over 24 hours

SANAA, May 6 (YPA) – NineYemeni civilians were killed and another was injured when US-backed Saudi-led coalition waged 33 airstrikes and ground attacks on several Yemen’s provinces over the past 24 hours, damaging residents’ properties, according to Ansar Allah Media Center statement obtained by Yemen Press Agency on Sunday.’

  • In Saada province:

Five of a family-members, including women and children, were killed, a plow vehicle and a car were destroyed in two airstrikes targeted a home, killing dozens of sheep in BAqem district.

A civilian was killed in an airstrike hit a main road in Baqem.

A civilian’s home was destroyed in an airstrike on Zubaiah area of Baqem.

A civilian’s car was destroyed in an airstrike on Mahjar area.

13 airstrike were waged on several areas of Baqem.

Meanwhile, artillery and missile shelling targeted several areas of Razih district.

  • In Hodeidah province:

Two civilians were killed in two airstrikes targeted their farms in Jariah area of Jarahi district.

A civilian was killed and another injured in an airstrike targeted Aqed area of Jarahi district.

Two airstrikes were waged on the Naval base in Katheeb.

  • In Hajjah province:

Ten Saudi-led airstrikes were launched on Haradh and Medi districts.
