UAE allocates 2 planes to repatriate its citizens from Britain

SANAA, April 6 (YPA) – The UAE allocated two planes to evacuate more than 80 Emiratis from Britain on 5 and 7 April.
According to the statement, UAE has allocated two planes to evacuate more than 80 Emiratis from the United Kingdom on April 5 and 7, who were either studying or receiving medical treatment, and were unable to return after all flights to and from the country were suspended on March 24.”
Khaled Abdullah Belhoul, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, stated that “These two trips out of 43 trips were organized to return 1,783 Emirati citizens from all over the world, and that there are 22 ongoing evacuations and will be completed in the coming days to return about 641 Emirati citizens to the homeland.

Belhoul added “We are proud of our team, which worked tirelessly during the past week to help UAE citizens return to their homes.”
