Commander loyal to coalition arrested in Marib on charge of treason

MARIB, April 2 (YPA) – A commander loyal to the Saudi-led aggression coalition was arrested on Wednesday on charge of treason, sources said.

The sources affirmed that the Saudi-backed Islah militants arrested Hussein al-Okkaimi, the commander of so called the 144th Brigade in Marib, on charges of treason.

According to the sources added that militants carried out a large-scale arrest campaign against military leaders from Murad tribe, who withdrew and rejected the fighting alongside the coalition forces.

The campaign of arrests came hours after Murad military leaders and sheikhs announced in a strongly-worded statement their withdrawal from the fighting in the ranks of the coalition forces, due to the intentional insult and assassination attempts لاغ coalition against Murad tribes.
