Sanaa reveals developments of Amman agreement on prisoners’ exchange

SANAA, April 2 (YPA) – Head of the National Committee for Prisoners’ Affairs Abdulqadir al-Mortada on Thursday revealed the developments of the latest Amman agreement on the exchange of prisoners and the role of Saudi-led coalition forces in obstructing it.

Al-Mortdada affirmed that the other party’s obstruction to the prisoner exchange agreement proves that the coalition is not serious in dealing with the security and political files.

“The aggression forces’ intransigence and their obstruction of the implementation of the recent Amman agreement on the exchange of prisoners, which is a humanitarian file, indicates to their lack of seriousness in any other security and political files,” he said in a tweet on Twitter Thursday.

On the 16th of last February, al-Mortada announced the signing of a major agreement for the exchange of prisoners with the other party in the Jordanian capital, Amman, under the auspices of the United Nations, which includes the liberation of (1,420) prisoners from both parties.
