Death toll of coronavirus in US passes 3,000

SANAA, April 1 (YPA) – The number of death cares in the United States from  coronavirus (COVID-19)  passed 3,000 on Tuesday,  news agency NBC reported.

According to NBC, there are now more than 160,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus the highest number for a single country in the world.

New York state is the largest epicenter of the emerging coronavirus epidemic in the United States, with more than 1,500 deaths and 75,000 infections, out of nearly 3,900 deaths and 190,000 cases nationwide.

The rising numbers come as medical workers in New York City, the heart of the outbreak in the US, warned that they “need the tools and the resources to do our jobs, and we don’t have them.
