Floods raid citizens’ houses in capital Sanaa

SANAA, May 3 (Saba) – The heavy rain that fell in the capital Sanaa and its environs last week was not a peace for many people, as the floods swept a number of houses and public buildings in the city, forming pools of water and rivers running through their homes.

The concrete barriers on sub-streets in several districts of the capital have doubled the disaster, as they booked the water until the houses were flooded.

Citizens in the capital, Sanaa, demanded that Ministry of Public Works and security services take urgent measures to secure residential neighborhoods and open emergency lines for the drainage of rainwater.
