Yemen witnesses major shift in military industrialization, air defense systems: PM

SANAA, Feb. 23 (YPA) – Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor on Sunday said that Yemen is in front of “a major shift in the course of military operations, military industrialization, and the development of air defenses.”

This came at the opening of the Martyr Abdulaziz al-Muharram Exhibition for military industries, during which new air defense systems were unveiled.

Dr. bin Habtoor expressed his proud of what he saw in the exhibition, especially the new defense air systems.

Earlier in the day, President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat opened the Martyr Abdulaziz al-Muharram Exhibition, unveiling four new air defense system missiles, namely Thaqib-1, Thaqib-2, Thaqib-3 and Fater-1, which were developed by pure Yemeni expertise.
