DHALEA, April 29 (YPA) – A military commander loyal to Saudi-led coalition forces on Sunday survived an assassination attempt in Yemen’s southern province of Dhalea, a security official told Yemen Press Agency.
Colonel Fadl al-Numiri, staff officer of the 83rd Artillery Brigade, survived an assassination attempt by detonating an explosive device planted by unknown persons while passing through Al-Haql junction in Moris district, the official said.
The southern provinces controlled by Saudi-UAE occupation forces have been witnessing a insecurity chaos amid spread of terrorist groups of al-Qaeda and Daesh, in addition to conflict between armed factions loyal to the occupation forces.
