Mohammed al-Houthi comments on Trump’s peace deal

SANAA, Jan. 29 (YPA) – Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a member of the Supreme Political Council confirmed that Trump’s deal saw the lack of seriousness of peace and embodied a “crisis” that plagues both Trump and Netanyahu.

He predicted “adverse effects” on them and the Arab regimes that financed the deal, which showed that it lacked justice from the procedures for its preparation and declaration.

He said it would “remain important”, calling for marches against them, while addressing the countries of the war coalition supporting the deal.

In response to the US president’s speech, Mohammed al-Houthi said in a series of tweets on “Twitter” on Tuesday night: “We reaffirm that the project of the Republic of Yemen is to support the Palestinian cause, as confirmed and called on June 29, 2019.” Referring to the proposal of a matrix of operational support measures for Palestine at various levels.

He said that the announcement by UU President Donald Trump and Netanyahu of what he called the “peace plan” reflects a crisis that is ravaging both of them,

Mohammed al-Houthi said: “The announced plan (deal of the century) reflects a crisis experienced by both parties of the Plan Trump and Netanyahu, and confirms their continuation of criminality and confiscation of rights as they wish.”

Al-Houthi described the “Trump plan” as a flagrant violation that goes beyond the rights of Palestinians.

“The plan is a flagrant violation of the law and Security Council resolutions, and it detracts from and mocks the Arab, Islamic and international regimes that unanimously adopted those resolutions,” he said.

He pointed to indications that the deal had failed. “The first failure of the plan was that it could not mobilize ambassadors of all countries, not its leaders,” he said. “The deal of the century will remain important, and it will not change the arab and Islamic awareness of the centrality of the Palestinian cause,” he said.

“The deal in general reflects the lack of seriousness in bringing peace,” he added.

“A deal that has passed the support of the Palestinians from an American administration that swims Israel’s security, flirts with its love, and implements the entity’s agenda with a obsession that cannot be honest with its peace, ” he said, stressing that  “there will be no solution for Palestine, who is besieging it and fighting with its usurper killer.”

It demonstrated the partiality of the deal to the Zionist entity and its lack of legitimacy or fairness.

He Continued: “If the plan were fair, as Trump claims, it would have been presented to the world and put to a vote through the UN General Assembly and the UN Security Council, and it would not have set a longer time limit for its acceptance from the Palestinians”.

“The deal of the century will have the opposite effect on the enemy, and will lead to a union in the practical position, God willing, among the free people of the world,” he said.

He concluded his comment on the “deal” by addressing the supporting coalition countries, saying: “I have to say to the Arab countries that are scrambling towards normalization and friendly relations with the entity: the peace that you are trying to give to the usurped entity by settling the Palestinian issue ‘prosperity for peace’ is the same term that it needs “Your thinking is to stop the aggression, the crimes, the blockade and the embargo against Yemen.”

“We call on Arab and Islamic regimes to reject Trump’s plan before and after it is announced,” said Supreme Political Council member Mohammed Ali al-Houthi.

He also called on Yemenis, saying: “We call on the Yemeni people to make Friday a day of rejection of the Trump deal, if announced, with marches and stops.” “We call on the Arab and Muslim masses to come out to reject Trump’s conspiratorial and rejected plan, in form and substance.”

Mohammed al-Houthi reiterated his call for marches on Tuesday night, saying: “Your participation on Friday in the march to reject the deal of the century is an expression of your love for the al-Aqsa , and a proof of your interest in the Muslims.” “Whoever does not care about Muslims is not one of them,” he said.
