Source reveals reason for Islah Party’s resumption of fighting on Nehm front

SANAA, Jan. 19 (YPA) – A military source in Islah Party on Saturday revealed a new military escalation to fight against the Yemeni army and the popular committees in Nehm front of Sanaa province, after witnessing a remarkable calm during the last period.

The source pointed out that the military escalation in Nehm front comes in the context of the party’s desire to restore the confidence of the Saudi leadership in the Islah militants and refute the charge attributed to them of handing over a full camp in Serwah district, west of Marib province, to the authorities of the Supreme Political Council.

“There are real fears among the party leaders that the Saudi-led coalition might dispense with the party’s fighters and rely on other forces, groups and factions,” the source said.
