Meteorological Center warns citizens of very cold wave

SANAA, Jan. 17 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology warned on Friday resident and farmers of an extremely cold weather in Yemen’s various provinces within the next 24 hours.

The center expected that the cold wave would hit mountainous highlands, interior plateaus and desert areas in the provinces of Saada, Sanaa, Ibb, Dhamar,Taiz, Hajjah, al-Mahwait, Raimah, Amran and Bayda.

It warned also in its weather forecast fishermen and sea-goers of high waves and the sea unrest in the Socotra archipelago and the western and southern coasts.
