Prominent leader reveals plan to eliminate Islah’s leaders in several provinces

SANAA, Dec. 15 (YPA) – A prominent leader in Ansarullah movement  has revealed a plan to liquidate the leaders of the Al-Islah party ( Yemeni branch of Muslim Brotherhood )  in general, particularly the provinces that have concentrated their influence and their militias (Taiz, Marib and Shabwah), and the UAE has adopted funding for its implementation under the leadership of Tariq Afash.

Hussein al-Azi, head of the foreign relations department at Ansarullah’s political bureau, said: “Tariq Afash requested funding for two plans, one to eliminate the Islah Party in Taiz, as fancy and the other to liquidate and assassinate the leaders of the Islah in Marib and Shabwah.”

Al-Azi, deputy foreign minister in the rescue government, confirmed in a tweet at midnight Saturday that the UAE had agreed to finance the plans, with modifications, including the expansion of their geographical scope and the theater of their operations.

“The UAE has adopted Tariq Afash’s plan to eliminate Islah in Taiz and has expanded the plan to liquidate and assassinate the party’s leaders in Marib and Shabwah in a partnership with the UAE-backed Southern Transitional council to include the rest of the occupied areas (southern provinces) ,” he said.

“I hesitated to publish these information about the UAE’s plan, Tariq Alash and STC to eliminate the Islah party, but I think it’s time to contribute to the save the blood, even if it’s Muslim brotherhood,” he said.

The UAE does not hide its hostility to the Islamic State and its groups in the region, primarily the Yemeni Islay Party, and Western media have already published investigations into Abu Dhabi’s financing of assassinations of more than 50 mosque imams and Islah’s leaders in the southern provinces.
