President al-Mashat confirms Political Council’s support for COCA

SANAA, Dec.10 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on Tuesday confirmed that the Council would continue to support the Central Organization for Control and Auditing (COCA) to carry out its duties to the fullest.

This came during the President’s meeting with COCA’s Head Ali al-Emad, who briefed him on the organization’s plan for 2020, on top of which are requirements to support the fight against corruption and the study of establishing a specialized prosecution and a court for public funds issues.

President al-Mashat emphasized the importance of the reports issued by COCA to evaluate and diagnose the current status of government institutions in the framework of the political leadership’s approach to fighting corruption.
