Solider In Coast Guard Authority Assassinated In Aden

ADEN, Dec. 8 (YPA) – A solider in Coast Guard Authority backed by Saudi-led coalition was assassinated  in the southern port city of Aden, sources reported on Sunday morning.

According to the sources, an unknown gunman killed the solider in the Hijaz market in al-Mansoura district.

As a part of security chaos, on Saturday evening, gunmen assassinated a senior commander of the UAE-backed security belt force in the port city of Aden, southern Yemen.

Sources reported that unknown gunmen killed Mohammed Saleh, deputy director of manpower of the security belt force, in front of his house in the same district.

Assassinations have returned at a high pace to Aden, and the rest of the southern provinces, since Saudi forces took over Aden following the withdrawal of UAE forces, which had been in control since the end of 2015.

Ever since, Aden has witnessed a string of assassinations and abductions, and the city remains the victim of unprecedented insecurity amid the tensions between the coalition forces – Saudi Arabia and the UAE, which seek to ensure their own interests are fulfilled.
