PM confirms government’s support for General Organization of Book

SANAA, Nov. 14 (YPA) – Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor on Thursday said the government would support the General Organization of Book to enhance its status as a source of culture and enlightenment even with the presence of internet and e-books.

During his visit to the organization, Dr. bin Habtoor was briefed on the organization’s important role in the dissemination of culture, the process of enlightenment, and the literary and cognitive documentation.

Dr. bin Habtoor visited also the organization’s library and got acquainted with its contains, which include a variety of books and Literary, knowledge and informational publications that meet the various educational desires for seekers of knowledge and information.

He expressed his thanks to those in charge of this important enlightenment edifice and its staff, praising the contents of the library.
