Aggression, mercenaries are cause of Yemenis suffering: al-Houthi

SANAA, Nov. 11 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council Mohammed Ali al-Houthi on Sunday said that Saudi-led aggression coalition countries and mercenaries are the cause of Yemenis suffering.

“The aggression coalition and its mercenaries make pain of Yemeni citizens in order to enjoy their suffering, even those residents in the coalition-held areas,” said al-Houthi in a statement.

He pointed out that the capital Sanaa and the provinces of Aden, Sanaa, Hodeidah and Dhamar have been living in the dark for five years as a result of the refusal of the aggression coalition and its tools to allow the re-connection of the gas power station.

When citizens turned to using alternative energy and buying solar panels, the aggression coalition and its tools prevented those equipment from entering the ports for no reason, al-Houthi added.

On the situation in Marib province, he noted that there is a state of resentment in the province of Marib due to poor services, especially electricity, and high prices.

He continued:”Even when they (the coalition and its mercenaries) said they would establish an airport in Marib, they set a geographical boundary and entered the line of power towers there, and the first thing they did was to remove four 400 KV towers to separate the station from Sanaa and other provinces.”
