Hadi’s forces prepare to storm Zinjibar City of Abyan

ABYAN , Nov. 2 (YPA) – Local sources revealed a massive deployment of the UAE’s Southern Transitional Militias on Friday in Zinjibar district, the capital of Abyan province, in southern Yemen.

According to the sources, the Saudi-backed forces “Hadi and Islah militias”  mobilize their fighters in the coastal city of Shaqra, in preparation for attacking and storming the city of Zinjibar .

On the other hand, the STC’s militias  stationed  in several  locations east of the city, in anticipation of any surprise attack in the coming hours.

Meanwhile, local reports indicated that UAE’s warplanes targeted Hadi’s forces and al-Islah while on their way to Zinjibar, the provincial capital.

This comes after the forces of the resigned “Hadi” imposed control of the city of Ahwar on Friday, after violent confrontations with transitional militias

The UAE-backed Transitional Militia tried to retake the city of Ahwar with air cover by UAE warplanes, but they failed.

Saudi  Arabia forced Hadi to hand over the city of Ahwar to the  so-called special security forces, and the withdrawal of 21st Brigade militants towards Ataq, the capital of Shabwah province.

The southern transitional accused Hadi and Al-Islah forces of executing two of its gunmen after they were captured during clashes that broke out on Thursday in the city of Ahwar.

Mohammed al-Ghithi, deputy head of the General Directorate for Foreign Affairs in the southern transitional, said Hadi’s forces had handed over the terrorist organizations to prisoners who had been executed in a gruesome manner after the Ahwar clashes.

Hadi and al-Islah are trying to retake the City of Zinjibar, the capital of Abyan province, from the grip of the UAE’s southern transitional militias, which it took control of Hadi camps in Aden, and all government facilities last August.
