Saudi forces take control of Aden airport, replacing UAE forces

ADEN, Oct. 13 (YPA) – Saudi forces have taken over the occupation of Aden International Airport after the departure of Emirati forces, media sources said on Sunday.

The sources said that the UAE forces who were at Aden airport left it to the coalition camp in Brega district.

The sources explained that the handover of Saudi forces to Aden airport comes within the framework of the Jeddah agreement between the government of “Hadi” and the “Southern Transitional Council.

According to leaks of the draft agreement published on Saturday, the agreement provided for the departure of the UAE forces Aden, and handed over to Saudi Arabia.
