Al-Houthi: Those who spoke in the name of Al-Hamdi and claiming to defend the republic throw themselves into the arms of Saudi reactionary

SANAA, Oct. 13 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council Mohammed Ali al-Houthi confirmed that the martyrdom of President Ibrahim al-Hamdi, who was assassinated in a Saudi-led plot in 1977, was the beginning of the period in which the Republic of Yemen and the revolutionary system decayed into a dark era full of criminality and dependency.

Al-Houthi made these statements on the so-called Day of Loyalty to President Ibrahim al-Hamdi, which was revived on Saturday by the Department of Moral Guidance of the Armed Forces under the slogan “The National Will wins through the blood of President Al-Hamdi”.

Al-Houthi pointed out that those who kill the Yemeni people today in the Saudi-led aggression coalition are the killers of al-Hamdi yesterday, those whobstood against al-Hamdi’s project of liberation and independence.

“The Gulf states do not understand the right to have their own independent decision because their decision depends on the Americans,” he said.

He noted that closed files in the assassination must be reopened for the truth and that the nation could only develop on the basis of justice.

“It is regrettable that Mohammed bin Salman, King Salman and the Gulf states are subjected to Trump, and that those who claim to return the republic are also humiliated by Salman and want to subjugate the free Yemeni people.”

“Reactionaryism cannot give our people the Republic, and hereditary rule cannot restore democracy to our people,” he said.

He stressed that democratic governance is what the Yemeni people need, and that prolonged personal rule often leads to tyranny, no matter how sincere the human being may be.

He pointed out the importance of everyone going to defend the Republic of Yemen with pen and rifle and by all means possible, not paying attention to the rumours that stand in the way of reconstruction, liberation and independence.

“If there is any correction to the building of the country within this national vision, we welcome it. We seek a free, independent and self-reliant homeland, which is the homeland that we aspire to and which martyr al-Hamdi wanted,” he said
