Libyan army destroys 3 drones in Tripoli

SANAA, Sept. 18 (YPA) – The Media Center of the Libyan National Army’s Karama Operations Room, led by Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, announced that three drones were destroyed during air strikes on positions in the capital Tripoli.

“The air strike force of our armed forces is destroying three Turkish drones and targeting a militia camp in Tajura area,” the Al Karama Operations Room Media Center said in a press release.

The media center of the 73rd Infantry Brigade of the Libyan National Army’s General Command said that the fighting in the capital Tripoli last Friday has witnessed armed clashes between the Libyan National Army and the al-Wefaq government forces in an attempt to advance towards the Libyan army’s outposts.

It is worth mentioning that the spokesman of the General Command of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces, Major General Ahmed Al-Mesmari, said that the Libyan National Army repelled an air and ground attack on al-Jafra base by terrorist militias and mercenaries.
