Update: Army retake control of military sites in Dhalea

DHALEA, Aug. 22 (YPA) – The Yemeni army backed by popular committees on Thursday liberated several military sites were under the control of Saudi-led coalition forces in Dhalea province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The army and popular committees waged a military operation, during which they managed to cleanse and retake control of several positions in al-Azareq front, the official explained.

He added that the attack resulted in many dead and wounded in ranks of the coalition mercenaries while the rest of them fled leaving the bodies of their deaths in the battlefield, in addition to losses in military gear.
