Families killed in Saudi-led airstrikes on Yemen’s Saada

SِِAADA, Jan 22 (YPA) – A Saudi-led airstrikes killed 9 civilians , including children and women, and five seriously wounded in the Yemeni northern province of Saada on Monday, a security official told Yemen Press Agency.

 

SAADA, Jan 22 (YPA) – A Saudi-led airstrikes killed 9 civilians , including children and women, and five seriously wounded in the Yemeni northern province of Saada on Monday, a security official told Yemen Press Agency.

The Saudi-led coalition aircraft waged on Monday morning a raid on a building that housed a small clinic and a house, killing the family – father, mother and five children, wounding five others in Masa’ebah area of Sohar district.

In a separate raid in the same district on Monday two other people – a woman in her seventh month of pregnancy and her husband – were killed when the Saudi airstrike destroyed their homes in Azqul area.

Also, Saudi-led coalition waged four airstrikes on auto repair workshop and wheat mill in Mahdhnah area, damaging them completely as well as eight airstrikes on Shada border district and Saber area of Sohar, damaging residents’ properties.

The war has killed and injured more than 36 thousand civilians, mostly children, especially in province of Saada since the beginning of Saudi-led coalition war against Yemen since 26 March 2015.
