Coalition attack foiled in Hodeidah
HODEIDAH, July 17 (YPA) – The Saudi-led aggression coalition and its mercenaries carried out Wednesday a failed attack against the Yemeni army’s sites in Hodeidah province in the ongoing attempt to breach the UN-brokered Stockholm Agreement.
A military official said that the Yemeni army foiled the mercenaries’ attack in al-Tuhytah district, inflicting heavy casualties.
The violations came in coincide with resuming the meetings of the redeployment Commission in Hodeidah on the international ship over the past two days.
According to the Yemeni army spokesman Yahiya Sarie, the coalition and its mercenaries have been committing more than 27,714 violations of the cease-fire in the province since December 18, 2018.
The UN-sponsored truce went into force on Dec, 18, 2018.
